SVNA Octoberfest Chili Cook-Off Championship 2023!
SVNA is excited to announce that we will be hosting our annual Octoberfest, featuring the highly-anticipated annual chili cook-off championship! Join us on Saturday, October 21st, from 5:00 pm until sundown, weather permitting, at a location that will be announced soon.

About the event
Event: SVNA Chili Cook-Off and Octoberfest Celebration
Date: October 21st (Rain date: October 28th if necessary)
Location: Surrey Village
Prizes:
- Best Chili: $75 and the Golden Ladle (doubled if winner is an SVNA member)
- Second Place Chili: $50 (doubled if winner is an SVNA member)
- Third Place Chili: $25 (doubled if winner is an SVNA member)
Judging: Neighbors from Surrey Village will sample each entry and vote for their favorite chili.
Activities:
- Corn hole games
- A big corn pool for kids
- Fire pit for evening enjoyment
Additional Info:
- Winners of the SVNA Halloween Decorating Contest will be announced, and cash prizes will be awarded.
- SVNA will provide desserts, so participants should focus on bringing their best pot of chili, lawn chairs, and favorite beverages.
- The event is an excellent opportunity to meet and socialize with your neighbors.
